Leeds United’s record signing is James Trafford, joining from Manchester City in the summer of 2026 for a fee of £40m, plus an additional £5m if add-ons are achieved.

Trafford made his name during a spell at Burnley, where he was instrumental in the Clarets’ record-setting promotion campaign, as they conceded just 16 goals in 46 games.

Leeds United’s record sale is Raphinha, sold to Barcelona in 2022 for £55m.
