This season could go a long with to determining if Kirill Marchenko stays in Columbus, barring he’s not traded this offseason

Marek: “I think it depends on the season they have, as he could try to force his, force his way out of there. And in this era where players very much can force their way out of the situation with the help of agents, make things quite public.

I really like the Columbus Blue Jackets. I want them, there’s always been a couple of teams that have always said, ‘Man, I don’t care what happens this year. I just want this team to do well.’ For the longest time in my entire life, really, it’s been the Buffalo Sabres. I really want Columbus to do well. The problem is everybody around them is getting better. Everybody around them is getting better, and they’re having a really hard time here.
And now they’re in the middle of, you know, it was the chaos with, as you mentioned, (Zach) Werenski. Everything off the ice as well, and now this situation with Adam Fantilli. I think it’s probably like. I think you’re, you’re bang on, the number 13 (million), maybe, maybe 14.
We’ll, we’ll see here. I think they’ve got, they’ve got a tall order ahead of them here, and I think that Marchenko all depends on what the season’s like. If it’s a good season, he stays. If not, there might be issues.
