Nashville (Tenn.) Battle Ground Academy receiver Maddox Porter is one of the most talented prospects in the class of 2029. The 6-2, 182-pound pass catcher put on a show during year one of his high school career.

As a freshman, Porter was named the MaxPreps Freshman of the Year. He racked up 78 catches for 1,547 yards and 27 touchdowns. There are now over 30 schools pushing to land him. Every major program across the country would love nothing more than to eventually land this commitment.

Back on June 21, Notre Dame extended a scholarship offer to Porter. The Fighting Irish have been pushing hard for his services ever since.

247Sports has now learned that Porter has locked in a game-day visit to check out South Bend this fall.
