Some of the top underclass prospects in Southern California will be in Los Angeles this Saturday to ring in the start of a new college football season as USC hosts San Jose State inside the Coliseum.
For the Trojans, it’s an opportunity to continue laying the groundwork on another star-studded recruiting class.
Although the matchup might not be all that enticing — it won’t register on the same radar as home games against No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Oregon later this year — a very solid group of uncommitted recruits are expected to make their way down the Peristyle steps to check in with the Trojans, including at least six local players who are members of the Top247 for the 2028 class.
