Miikka Muurinen is returning stateside to play for John Calipari and Arkansas.
A native of Finland, the former five-star prospect previously attended AZ Compass Prep for the 2024-25 season before playing for KK Partizan in Serbia this year. Prior to that, he was arguably the hottest underclassmen prospect in the country two summers ago when he starred for Brad Beal Elite’s E16 team.
While he hasn’t necessarily been able to live up to quite that same level of production since, the 19-year-old’s talent level is still absolutely undeniable, and he’s heading to an Arkansas program that could really utilize what he does well.
