Long Beach (Calif.) Poly five-star cornerback Donte Wright has been committed to Georgia for quite some time. The elite talent picked the Bulldogs way back on June 30, 2025. However, ever since that point, there have been rumblings of a potential flip.
The destination was always up in the air. Was he going to stay home at a school like USC? Was he gonna go a little north and end up at Oregon? Or was he going to go to the Sunshine State and head to Miami?

Wright announced his commitment to the University of Miami. He is headed to South Beach to play for Head Coach Mario Cristobal. This is a massive win for the Hurricanes, as they be a bunch of heavy hitters to land this commitment.
