Manchester United are now readying an official offer to sign Julian Ryerson from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Man Utd readying official offer for Ryerson
Victory over Brentford has all but taken Man United over the line in the race to qualify for the Champions League. They now sit 11 points clear of Brighton & Hove Albion in sixth with just four games left to play.
The work that Michael Carrick has completed has been incredibly impressive and he very much remains a candidate for the permanent gig.
With Champions League football awaiting, INEOS have the perfect chance to welcome some important upgrades in the coming months, one year after transforming Man United’s attack.
On that front, those at Old Trafford have several priorities. Not only are they focusing on welcoming a midfield star, with Sandro Tonali and Elliot Anderson just two of their top targets, but they’re also looking to welcome an upgrade on Diogo Dalot.
According to reports in Germany, as relayed by TEAMtalk, INEOS are now readying an official offer to sign Ryerson from Borussia Dortmund for Man United this summer.
The right-back has been in excellent form this season, with 16 assists to his name in all competitions, and would be a strong candidate to start ahead of Dalot.

Dubbed “intelligent” by Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl, Ryerson is reportedly valued at around €40m (£35m) in Germany – a price well within Man United’s range.
Man Utd make their move to sign a big £86m upgrade on Tchouameni
Aurelien Tchouameni is not the only big-money midfielder Manchester United are considering.
Whilst it won’t be their priority this summer, there’s no denying that the right-back would add yet another attacking dimension to the Red Devils next season and at a bargain price.
Carrick “going to be” Man Utd boss, says Carragher
After suffering doubts for the first time following difficult results against Leeds United and Bournemouth, Carrick has responded in emphatic fashion – beating Chelsea and Brentford to solidify Man United’s Champions League chances.
Jamie Carragher now believes that he will get the job on a permanent basis at the end of the season following what he described as some “sensational results”.
“He’s going to be the Manchester United manager, certainly next season, no doubt about that – and you can’t say he doesn’t deserve it. They are absolutely sensational results. They’re the results of title-winning team, or a team going for the league.
“Now I know that pressure isn’t on Manchester United right now, they haven’t got European fixtures, all these other things will come into it, but I don’t think anybody could have come in and done any better results-wise.”
Some will be concerned about an Ole Gunnar Solskjaer repeat, but there’s no denying that Carrick has earned the chance to lead Man United into next season. He has dragged the Red Devils from the chaos of Ruben Amorim to the joys of Champions League qualification in the space of a few months.
