As Celtic continue to act with hesitation in the transfer market, Rangers are continuing to welcome some impressive reinforcements.
It looks like a deal is back on for Jens Hjerto-Dahl, whilst Vanja Dragojevi is also on the verge of arriving.
The duo could be about to join six other fresh facs at Ibrox, but the Gers are still not done there. Those at Ibrox have also now got their sights set on former Kilmarnock defender Corrie Ndaba.
The left-back has spent a year at Italian club Lecce and could already be on his way back to the Scottish Premiership.
He’s not someone that lacks experience, that’s for sure. Ndaba played 54 games in the SPFL during his time at Kilmarnock.

Credibility |
Rangers aren’t alone in their interest in Ndaba. The 26-year-old has also attracted Strasbourg, who are owned by billionaire owners BlueCo. That could complicate things for the Gers if a bidding war breaks out and they are left attempting to keep up with the finances of those in France. |
|
Finances |
It remains to be seen just how much Lecce charge to sell Ndaba this summer. The left-back only arrived 12 months ago, but cost less than £1m. Even if the Italian club seek profit, this should be an affordable deal for those at Ibrox. |
|
Insight |
The former Kilmarnock man started just six Serie A games last season. To say that his Italian adventure hasn’t worked out would be an understatement. He now needs a move away from Lecce and perhaps back to the Scottish Premiership, where he started 35 games in the 2024/25 campaign. |
|
Impact |
With Jayden Meghoma back at Brentford following his loan spell last season, Rangers need a left-back and signing someone who knows Scottish football well is certainly a good idea – making Ndaba a solid addition if he arrives. |
Whilst things haven’t worked out in Italy, Ndaba’s still has the reputation of an impressive left-back in Scotland and could slot straight back in to the SPFL at Rangers.
Rangers battling Strasbourg to sign Corrie Ndaba
According to reports relayed by Daily Record, Rangers are fighting Strasbourg to sign Ndaba from Lecce this summer.
The French club are owned by billionaires in the form of BlueCo, who also own Chelsea, which could complicate things. The Gers may be hoping that the left-back prefers a return to Scotland, however.

Meghoma’s return to Brentford is a blow for those at Ibrox, but the numbers suggest that Ndaba would be an instant upgrade on the teenager.
In his last spell in Scotland, the former Kilmarnick star outperformed the young Brentford defender in almost every department. Add his experience on top of that and Rangers would be signing yet another impressive star.
