quarterback Koa Malau’ulu, who threw for 2,361 yards and 33 touchdowns as a sophomore.
On the sideline, Friday’s matchup pits a pair of highly-accomplished head coaches against one another. Brent Browner took over the Bishop Gorman program in 2020 and has a career record of 63-4 with a national title in 2023.
Jason Negro is in his 17th season at St. John Bosco after coaching seven years at Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, Calif.). He has won 223 games with national titles in 2019 and 2022.
