WESTWOOD, Mass. — There are moments when quarterback William Wood envisions himself at Penn State, running the offense inside Beaver Stadium and competing for a Big Ten title, and it feels right.
There are also times when he sees himself inside Boston College’s Alumni Stadium, learning from and being coached by the same guy who coached Tom Brady while resurrecting the Eagles’ program 20 minutes from home.
Wood, the Xaverian Brothers quarterback, is a leading target for Penn State and Boston College, and the clock is ticking. But before a decision is made, one more visit will take place as he spends Wednesday at Boston College.
