A month after committing to Alabama, Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy Top247 linebacker Kenneth Simon II has had a change of heart and flipped his commitment to the Tennessee Volunteers. The 6-2, 210-pounder, who 247Sports slots as the No. 144 overall player in the nation, No. 9 linebacker, and No. 6 prospect in his home state, is staying home to play for head coach Josh Heupel.
Simon could have gone just about anywhere he wanted to play his college ball. However, he’ll follow in his father’s footsteps, former Tennessee linebacker Kevin Simon, and suit up in Knoxville for the Vols.
