The Texas A&M Aggies have secured one of the biggest wins of the 2027 recruiting cycle.
It’s not just one of the biggest wins for Mike Elko and his staff. It’s one of the biggest wins of the cycle, period. On Thursday, Kaden Henderson, a five-star linebacker from Tampa, Fla., committed to the Aggies. Henderson boasts nearly 50 offers, so he could have played college football literally just about anywhere.
In the end, though, it came down to Texas A&M and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and it wasn’t an easy decision for the five-star.
“It’s been so hard,” Henderson told Rivals. “All of this has been a blessing, but when it comes down to the end, it’s a hard decision because of all the relationships you build.
“It’s been Notre Dame and A&M for a month or two now. You talk about relationships, education, alumni and development, and both schools have so much to offer. It was so hard to tell one no.”
