Tottenham‘s summer recruitment drive continues to shock as the club reshapes Roberto De Zerbi‘s squad.

A number of major deals have already been completed as Spurs attempt to strengthen several key areas of the team.

The most expensive arrival so far has been Jan Paul van Hecke.

Tottenham agreed a £52 million deal with Brighton for the Netherlands international after making him one of their leading defensive targets, and the Dutchman joined a growing list of additions that also includes Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi.

All three defenders arrived as part of Tottenham’s efforts to improve depth and experience at the back.

Further forward, Spurs have also continued working on a move for Savinho.

The Man City winger has remained under consideration as Tottenham explore options to strengthen their attacking department, while midfield recruitment has become another major focus.

Sandro Tonali remains one of the headline names being discussed internally.

Fabrizio Romano’s colleague: PSG target nearing agreement to join Tottenham

Spurs are not messing around this summer.

Reports over the past fortnight have indicated Tottenham have already held talks with representatives of the Newcastle midfielder, and the Magpies’ valuation has consistently been reported at around the £100 million mark.

Recent reports have even suggested Tottenham submitted an opening £80m proposal that fell short of Newcastle’s demands, and at the same time, the club have explored other midfield options.

Mateus Fernandes has been another player linked with a move to north London.

The West Ham midfielder has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, with Tottenham among those monitoring his situation during the window.

With activity taking place across multiple positions, attention has now turned towards the goalkeeping department.

Tottenham in ‘advanced talks’ to sign Martin Dubravka on free transfer

According to football.london’s Alasdair Gold, Tottenham are now in ‘advanced talks’ to sign Martin Dubravka on a free transfer.

The move would represent one of the more unexpected deals of Tottenham’s summer.

Dubravka most recently spent a few years at Newcastle and established himself before joining Burnley last summer.

The Slovakian made well over 170 appearances for Newcastle across all competitions during his time at St James’ Park.

Tottenham’s interest appears to be focused on strengthening their goalkeeping options behind first-choice stopper Guglielmo Vicario, and there are suggestions the Italian could leave.

Vicario’s own future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks following reported interest from Juventus.

As a result, Spurs have been assessing multiple scenarios within the goalkeeping department.

Dubravka’s experience is believed to be one of the major attractions, and the goalkeeper has played extensively in both domestic and European competition.

He has also represented Slovakia at international level on numerous occasions.

A free transfer would allow Tottenham to add that experience without committing a significant transfer fee.

That factor could prove particularly useful given the club’s spending elsewhere in the market, particularly on Tonali.
