BEAVERTON, Ore. — The Opening Finals has returned. Nike headquarters is the center of college football recruiting for the next few days, as 120 elite prospects from the 2027, 2028, and 2029 classes come together for two days of competition.
This event, which returns to Nike’s Philip H. Knight Campus, hasn’t been around since 2018, but it is back in full force this week. NFL stars such as Saquon Barkley, Ja’Marr Chase, Derrick Henry, and Patrick Surtain II are expected to be on hand for opening ceremonies.
This year’s roster is headlined by 11 different five-star prospects and includes almost 50 more rising seniors inside the new-look Top247 rankings. They will lace up the cleats alongside nearly two dozen blue-chip underclassmen from the class of 2028 and a few talented soon-to-be sophomores in the 2029 cycle.
