Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are cooking with grease on the 2027 recruiting trail, and they’ve started the month of July with a bang.
Two elite 2027 recruits have pledged to Lanning and the Ducks, and a class that was already looking like one of the best in the nation is looking even better.
Not only that, but the Ducks were able to out-recruit several big-time SEC programs. Oregon may be in the Big Ten now, but the Ducks have never necessarily used the brand of their conference to recruit. Rather, their recruiting success has come from their own brand, which has become one of the biggest in college sports.
These commitments just further solidify the strength of Oregon when it comes to being able to draw commitments from many of the top college football players in the country.
The first came from elite athlete Tre Walden Jr. from Collierville, Tennessee. He committed to Oregon over LSU, Georgia, Ole Miss and Auburn.
