In a few hours, Conor McGregor will make his long-awaited return after a five-year hiatus as he runs it back with Max Holloway in the UFC 329 main event.
On Friday, after successfully making weight, the Irishman said he will make it look “effortless” against Holloway in the rematch:
“Effortless is what I am going to make this look tomorrow night. Effortless.”

Meanwhile, Holloway believes he will drag McGregor to the deep waters and drown him with an “old Hawaii style beating.”
Conor McGregor says he will find a way to win even if he gets tired against Max Holloway at UFC 329
During a sit-down on Smash Cast, Conor McGregor said that he is happy that his UFC 329 rematch with Max Holloway is a five-rounder. McGregor also made it clear that he never wanted the bout scheduled for three rounds, despite rumors suggesting otherwise.
If “Blessed” drags the Dubliner to deep waters and everything goes as planned for the Hawaiian, “The Notorious” opined he can fight “under fatigue” and believes ring rust won’t be a factor on fight night despite the half-decade layoff. He said:
“I am happy with the 5 rounds. We’re human. It’s normal to get tired. It is fine. I can fight under fatigue, no problem. For Max to say he is going to drown me in waters, I find somewhat disrespectful. I am not sure who he is talking to here. To get me to that stage, he will be concussed multiple times; he will be damaged majorly… I will find a way. I am prepared mentally and physically.”

McGregor also believes the last five years of inactivity have helped him heal completely, and after his rest period, he feels as if he’s now entering his prime.
