Massive news broke Tuesday in the recruitment of five-star athlete A’Mir Sears. The nation’s No. 1 ranked prospect in the 2028 class is reclassifying to the 2027 cycle and announcing his college decision on Friday, July 31.
Sears is set to reveal his commitment live on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube Channel and CBS Sports HQ, bringing one of the most closely followed recruitments in the country to a conclusion much earlier than originally expected.
Heading into his imminent decision, three schools are emerging as the programs to watch most closely: Miami, Texas A&M and LSU. However, I like one of those schools chances the best.
