Entering the 2026 college football season, the battle to win the championship in each of the Power 4 conferences can be summed up thusly: two mismatches and two dogfights.
National championship runner-up Miami (-138) and the Fightin’ Cody Campbells from Texas Tech (+104) are overwhelming favorites in the ACC and Big 12, respectively, according to DraftKings. Meanwhile in the Big Ten and SEC, there is no clear-cut team to beat. Ohio State (+223), Oregon (+285) and Indiana (+317) are closely grouped atop the Big Ten odds, while Georgia (+257) is a lukewarm favorite over Texas (+376) in the SEC.
But, no matter the conference, there is value to be found in the conference title odds market. Here is the top team to bet in the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC, including one on a longshot paying more than +1500. (Note: I’m +812 over my last 100 college football picks.)
