Calvary Baptist Academy (37-1) outscored opponents 391-36 on the season en route to its sixth straight state championship.
Georgia signee Kynzee Anderson led the Cavaliers with a 30-1 record in the circle, compiling a 0.61 ERA and 318 strikeouts. She finished her career with 129 wins and 1,398 punchouts.
Led by head coach Tiffany Wood, Calvary Baptist Academy started the season 30-0 before suffering its first defeat. Over the final seven games, the Cavaliers outscored opponents 69-5, including a 5-1 win over Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge) in the state title game.
Sophomore Baylor Bockhaus hit her 21st home run of the season in the championship game, bringing her career total to 62. Juniors Loren Sivils and Mallory Carver also cracked double-digit bombs. Starters Brynn Robinson, Carlie Guile, Jaycee Sledge, Reese Walker and eighth grader Ellie Duran all batted .350 or better.
In total, the Cavaliers recorded 19 shutouts and cranked out 129 extra-base hits.
