It is just about time for Chicago (Ill.) Brother Rice Top247 defensive lineman Brayden Parks to announce his commitment. The 6-3, 305-pounder has narrowed his recruitment to Notre Dame and Oregon, and will announce his commitment on Thursday, July 23, at 5 pm ET, on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube Channel.
Parks is one of the nation’s premier defensive linemen. 247Sports slots him as the No. 161 overall player in the country, No. 18 defensive lineman overall, and No. 7 recruit in his home state. The industry-generated composite rankings list him at No. 199 overall nationally.
On the recruiting front, Parks could have gone just about anywhere in the country. A ton of schools across the country offered the class of 2027 standout, including Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas A&M, USC, and others.
So, where will Parks end up? We know the final two. We know it will be either Notre Dame or Oregon.
