Oneal Delancy, a four-star guard currently ranked No. 54 in the national class of 2027, has committed to Houston.
He chose the Cougars after taking a series of official visits in June that also included Maryland, Florida State and Florida. Ohio State was also viewed as a serious contender in his recruitment.
Delancy’s pledge comes just days after helping his Florida Rebels squad to a Peach Jam championship by averaging 16 points and four rebounds per game in the EYBL season.
He also achieved notable success during the high school season, helping Montverde Academy to an 11-4 record in EYBL Scholastic play and then a trip to the finals of the Chipotle Nationals.
Below is the full breakdown of his game and the fit at Houston.
